Today is 26th of January 2010. 60 years ago on the same date in 1950, India made its constitution. But India was already independent from 15th August 1947. So to all the Indian all over the world: HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY!
India wouldn’t have been an independent and then a republic if the rebels didn’t fight for it. Some of them left to tell stories of what had happened and some of them gave their lives for India. We can’t forget them nor we can forget the glorious moment when Jawaharlal Nehru gave that speech in Delhi.
But, after the independence, there were still chaos all over India because of the lack of a central authority. So there was a need for a proper government which was fulfilled on 26th January 1950. When all the leaders made a constitution for our country. But I will not bore by talking about this history stuff. Let’s see the developments that we’ve come across all these years!
1. Computer technology
2. Communication
3. Health facilities
4. Improvement of the railway system all over the country
5. Improvement in education system
6. Introduction of new schools all over the country
7. Military wepons
8. Airplanes
and on and on and on…! You can’t list them here or if you will you should have unlimited space!
THANKS TO ALL THE REBELS WHO DIED SO THAT WE CAN SLEEP WELL

Oh! Really? Your welcome. And do subscribe to this blog! Hope to receive more comments from you in future!
Good to see youngsters like you blogging about the nation’s hard-earned independence and national pride. I highly appreciate it.
Nice post, but, I would like to suggest a bit of correction/improvement in the unintentional raw use of a word in your post. ‘Patriots’ are not addressed as ‘Rebels’, dear Manav! It’s not beffiting to use that word for the supreme martyrs of the great Indian Freedom Movement.
“Shaheedon ki chitaaon per, lagenge har baras mele,
Vatan pe marne waalon ka, yehi baaki nishaan hoga…”
HAPPY & PROUD 61ST REPUBLIC DAY TO YOU AND ALL THE COUNTRYMEN…! JAI HIND! JAI BHARAT!!!
