So today what happened was, I was just always, reading some blogs and tweeting and facebooking. But I had a head ache while I did this. So I decided to have an afternoon nap. Well, it didn’t quite turn up as effective – I turned on my iPod, and listened to my favorite tracks… Then as I took a look at the clock, it was almost 5 PM. Now, in my family, we have an evening coffee at about 5.30 roughly. So you know, I didn’t quite sleep, and I had that head ache still.

So I decided to turn off my iPod, try to sleep for at least 30 minutes. I did that, well not that kind of a nap, but yeah, a small one, until my mother knocked my bedroom’s door for the coffee. I woke up, went to have coffee, and watched some TV. And, I had that head ache as well.

So till 7 I watched news continuously (yeah I like journalism!), and still my head ache didn’t go. But, as you may know that I am complete internet junkie, I decided to come online. Then, I again checked my Google Reader for some new blog posts, and I had almost 30 to read. I closed it, and went to IndiBlogger forums. There I saw a website on how to improve my Google Page Rank. I check it out, and I was completely astonished! It was just a one page website, and had about 10 tips on the topic. I got hooked, and decided to add them on my blog, and voila! As I did that, my head ache was gone!

Well, yes, I could have mediated for some while. But actually I forgot. So, I did that improvements on my blog, and everything was fine. I went back to my Google Reader, read everything, and I am here, writing this post!

Why it works?

What I want to highlight is that, when you do some work it really helps you take your mind off things. And by work, I don’t mean any silly crap that today’s world has named “work”; I mean something that you feel to do. You are really inspired to do, and want to do that. And you love doing that as well. That’s how our mind works, what we like, we take action on it. What we don’t like, our body takes action on it.

It can be anything you come across. Remember here, don’t try to do stuff that you ‘like’ on a normal basis, because you think it will help. By doing this you are again forcing your body to do such crap to you. So it’s better that you just “let go” of everything. Seriously, leave everything on nature, don’t feel any responsibility on yourself, and things will automatically pop up that you will like. There’s no need to get to forced action. What you need is not that, you need inspired action, which is inspired by something you can’t even think of (and don’t try doing that).
